We have a full time youth worker who co-ordinates programmes of activities for local children (aged 8-18) during school holidays and a playscheme for the 5 s and overs during the summer.
The activities are safe, varied and enjoyable, at little or no cost to young people. This helps to reduce social exclusion and create well being amongst the local community.
The Tranmere Alliance Youth Club for 8 to 12 year olds is open on Fridays from 6pm till 8pm at the Tranmere Alliance Community Hall on Albany Road.
The club is free but members must have a completed parental consent form to join.
During club time members can join in with organised activities including sports, games, arts and crafts and cooking. They also have control of half the evening’s activities. We also regularly ask the members what activities they enjoyed the most and what they would like on the timetable for the future.
The club promotes healthy eating and has a tuck shop where members can buy penny sweets and fresh fruit.
Girls Night In
The programme for the Girls Night In activities is updated on a regular basis.
