Meet the Team

We have 13 staff working at Tranmere Alliance working on a full or part time basis.

We have 17 Guidance and Employment Support workers based at satellite posts acros the Wirral as part of the Reach Out service.

We also have a number of volunteers who work for us on a regular basis.

Justine Burns

Chief Executive

Tranmere Alliance has been able to identify the issues and concerns affecting the community and develop its services in direct response to them. My role is to lead the organisation as Chief Executive.

Barbara Oakley

Deputy Manager and Mediation Co ordinator

My role is to coordinate Wirral Mediation Services which deals primarily with neighbour disputes. This includes managing the caseload, training and supervising volunteer mediators, liaising with referral agencies and when time allows mediating. I am also the deputy manager at Tranmere Alliance which is a supporting role to the manager.

Sally Hignett

Advice Worker

My role is to offer advice and support to all those coming into our advice centre and at the various advice surgeries that we hold in the area. I assist with the completion of benefit forms, advise in respect of housing problems eg landlord and tenant disputes arrears etc. I also make appointments for legal surgeries.

Jenna Brown

Mediation Caseworker

My main duties are the assignment of cases to our volunteer mediators, mediating cases and maintaining the administration of the service. I spend much of my time supporting clients through the mediation process. For many people, the mediation service is their only support when dealing with neighbour disputes and we offer support even after cases have been closed.

Mediation Administrator

My main role is to provide administrative support to the Mediation service as well as the Victim Support service. At times I also support the rest of the team by helping out in the advice centre.

Youth Services Co ordinator

I am responsible for coordinating all the youth services we provide throughout the year as well as organising a number of youth events.

Michelle O'Connell

Events Co ordinator

My main role is to support the team at Tranmere Alliance in making sure that the office environment is run smoothly and efficiently. I also coordinate all the events by Tranmere Alliance which include the Tranmere Show,Charity Nights,Pensioners Party and the summer bbq. I am also PA to the Chief Executive.

Paul Ellis

Finance and Information Officer

My role is to coordinate the fundraising aspects for the organisation from local councils to grant making trusts. I am also responsible for IT systems such as our web site and handling information requests.

Project Administrator

My role is to provide administrative support to the team and the advice centre. I am responsible for organising and managing the cv service as well as providing project support to the Reachout service.

Lia Robinson

Reachout Coordinator

I am responsible for the co-ordination of the ReachOut project across all NRF wards within Wirral, working with key partner agencies. I ensure a quality confidential Advice & Guidance service is delivered to all residents via their local Guidance Workers.

Laura Kennedy

I am an Employment Support Worker for the Tranmere / Rock Ferry area and i work as part of Reachout Plus. My role is to provide advice and potential financial support to help people to get back into employment.
